Windmill Design, Delft Bleu Holland SMALL VASE, Handpainted, Signed, Classic, 4"

Description

This listing is for an estate vintage authentic Delft bleu 4" tall bud vase. Footed, it is hand painted, white base with blue paint used for the art work in the 'blue flow' style and features a windmill on its front and the European 'flowers' and 'leaves' common in vintage European ceramic art at the top and back designs. Dotted rim, which is a charming touch. This vase is signed on the bottom of its base 'Delft Bleu Holland', and has areas of cracks around the round base. The vase itself has areas of light crazing on the underside of its bulbous center, but no chips or cracks noted. A lovely example of vintage Dutch Delft craftsmanship in a form other than a souvenir shoe. Please see all photos for more details and close ups.
