    Description

    This rare Royal Goedewaagen Delft Blue Ginger Jar With Bird & Berry Lid is 9" tall with the lid on, 3¾" wide and 3" deep.  On the bottom is signed
    Koninklijke Goedewaagen Blauw Delft Holland - Handwerk
    which dates this piece to 1912.
    In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.  When I acquired this jar, where was a piece of undated paper inside it showing where it was purchased (photograph 11):

    There is a shop called

    at that address now.  But there is at least one shop in Amsterdam called
    Holland Souvenir Shop
    , and they do sell Delft,  but I don't know if it's the same place.
