    Description

    Up for auction is a delightful pair of De Porceleyne Fles clog figurines.
    The date code on both is DP which corresponds to 1996.
    They are in pristine condition, with absolutely no cracks, chips, repairs or crazing.

    They measure approximately 4 1/2 inches.
    Founded in 1635, De Porceleyne Fles (The Porcelain Jar or Bottle) is Holland’s most famous Delft Blue factory. Of the dozens of original 17th century Dutch pottery makers, only De Porceleyne Fles remains in operation. Collectors know that delftware produced by De Porceleyne Fles, (also known as Royal Delft,) is recognized to be the standard against which all delftware is judged. Each piece is coded with the factory mark, an item number, the artist's initials, a date code.
