Description

Cloisonne tile hand made at the tile factory Westraven in Utrecht.
Depicting the Holy Maria with the child Jesus. Made in the cloisonne technique with beautiful colors. Tile made at the tile and faience factory Westraven in Utrecht, Holland around 1920 -1930.
The tile has is in good state. There are some pinpricks to the glaze on the corners of the edge. Not distracting when displayed. Please see close-up photo’s. It has impressed the logo of Westraven Utrecht on the reverse. Measuring 15.1 x 10.3 cm or aprox 6 x 4 inches.
Westraven has been incorporated in the Porceleyne Fles, or Royal Delft, since the early 1960s.
