marked
Delft tulip
vase
with fish-form and classical mask spouts to hold a dozen tulips or other flora. Stands 12" high on 5.75"
square base.  Excellent conditions.  I can find no damage whatsoever.  Fresh from the estate of major New York City art collector (and mother of the Beastie Boys) Hester Diamond.  I really don't know the age of this but the quality and color is certainly there.  Appreciate any information on the marks which appear to include the artist's signature.  My research indicates vases of this quality bring very surprisingly high prices.  Having learned a bit, I now believe the 2-tiered vase at one time sat on a larger 3rd tier which has been lost.  If so, that would obviously impact value but I find the 12" height much more practical for use.  I'm happy to hang onto this indefinitely but please feel free to reach out with any additional information or comments.
